The role

As VP, it is not just the tactics and managing the day-to-day team execution, but also the ability to understand, analyze, create, and execute a game plan to grow the business effectively. It is about figuring out how to achieve the results. It is not just the analysis or managing the team – the challenging part is figuring out all the inter-connected variables, seeing all the complex components that affect and impact the execution to achieving the end goal, the result. It is about delivering the ROI by managing and involving all the key drivers, variables, people, systems, and processes that drive the necessary result. With a direct report to the CEO and part of the executive management team, you will be responsible for all the company's revenue while leading profitably and economically.

The responsibilities

Your priority is to run Sales and achieve the sales targets for the current 65+ strong eloominizers (still counting) across several business units that cover direct Sales teams, Sales Development, Customer Success and Marketing. It is all about quota attainment for the entire sales team, and you must know how to set the right strategy while also getting the team to execute and hit the sales targets.

The role's summary is to generate scalable, repeatable, and predictable sales revenue for our strong recurring subscription model. You will also be managing the teams responsible for all revenue generation and execution: Sales, Marketing, Customer Success etc. This is a very demanding, complex, and challenging role that requires experience, and not least to be a role model and front runner in Sales.

The expectations

  • Collaborate with the CEO and the leadership team to execute the sales and revenue strategy (backed by all other functions)
  • Align the Sales team to the company’s strategy, maximize the global commercial footprint, and drive performance
  • Inspire, lead, and enable all revenue-driving teams to meet or exceed all goals
  • Develop, refine and execute the go-to-market strategy by analyzing information and assessing where there are opportunities to improve
  • Ensure a predictable, repeatable, and scalable sales process with execution towards results
  • Operationalize all the processes that drive revenue growth and increase profitability together with the Operation team
  • Communicate the full go-to-market, New Sales & Full Revenue strategy, implement key performance indicators, and hold all the global revenue teams accountable for results
  • Ensure a customer-centric culture across all the sales and revenue teams

The experience

Please note! We are looking for candidates with a proven performance track record and strong experience from Sales & Marketing within products as LMS, PM, HR SaaS sales or alike, and with the US market experience.

  • Broad understanding of go-to-market functions and how they work together to maximize growth
  • Proven experience leading sales reps, an exceptional track record of managing front line sales managers, and a consistent track record of achievement with hiring, developing, and mentoring highly successful sales teams; proven experience managing executives or managers of all other revenue-supporting teams
  • Proven success exceeding expectations in hitting revenue targets and retaining and growing customer relationships within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment at a B2B SaaS company going from i.e. $10M-$50M or even higher, and global fast sales growth of 100%+ YoY.
  • Know the HCM industry and has proven sales track record in primary US
  • Proven track record leading teams of tenured, high-performing sales leaders and building an inclusive, psychologically safe, and empowering team environment
  • Experience leading enterprise field sales as well as inside sales teams
  • Ability to set a clear vision and execute on a strategy as well as roll up your sleeves to get into the details when necessary
  • Experience with global change management and effectively communicating strategic objectives and action plans to multiple teams
  • Strong global experience to help drive international expansion

Ideally your place of work will be our Orlando office. Our London and Copenhagen office is also an opportunity, but in the long term it is going to be in the US. We are headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark but the future is global and we are investing heavily in the US market. The job tasks will be performed mostly virtually in a top modern workspace suited for the future way of working. Benefits based on the typical SaaS scale-up models, e.g., fair base salary based on experience, add commission based on target achievements and taking part in the company warrant program. We are currently counting more than 100+ employees counting 26+ nationalities and 3 office dogs. Our eloomi offices are situated in Copenhagen and London, and we expect to have people in our Orlando office in May 2021.
