As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the revenue and efforts in our UK Sales business located in London. This incorporates sales management, commercial and market understanding, including an ability to lead and motivate your team currently consisting of 4 people but set to expand in the coming months. You will be reporting to our VP of Sales, based in the eloomi HQ in Copenhagen.

At eloomi, we do everything online, so all customer contact will be virtual.

Essential job functions:

  • Build and maintain a solid pipeline for the region to hit monthly and quarterly targets
  • Sales planning, forecast management and reporting
  • Focus on Mid-market customers and growing our SaaS business in the UK
  • Day to day training and coaching of direct reports, we call them Product Specialists.
  • Performance management: Tracking and monitoring of team KPIs
  • Manage complex larger sales cycles and tailor deals with VP to get MUST WIN deals
  • Work cooperatively with management, product development, marketing, support to share information and act as an effective liaison for customers in the region
  • Develop and maintain a profitable customer pipeline through the consistent application of quality outbound phone calls and online product demonstrations
  • Manage the UK team and the reporting of sales activities and performance
  • Hiring manager for UK-related hires
  • Work with our Sales qualification and the eloomi way of selling as key to success for your team

Your background:

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience
  • 3+ years B2B sales management/leadership experience
  • A proven track record in selling B2B software in the UK market, preferably within SaaS applications
  • Experience in managing a hybrid/remote workforce with a high-performance focus
  • Ability to work in a matrix organisation
  • Knowledge of the following industries is considered a plus: IT & Services, Consultancy, Manufacturing, Logistics or Financials Services

Skillset

  • Ability to communicate with, present to, and influence several levels of an organisation. Experience in engaging with decision-makers
  • Superior communication skills; you are a persuader/influencer profile.
  • Educational level preferred minimum bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with business technology, preferably SaaS
  • Strongly driven by sales metrics, numbers, and KPI’s.
  • Native English speaking
  • Strong project management skills, highly detail orientated and exceptional organisational skills
  • Reputation for integrity and dedicated work ethic. Independent and self-disciplined
  • Hunter mentality, utilising strategic and innovative ways of prospecting
  • Dealing with RFP’s, contracts and other parts of the sales process, knowing whom to involve and at what stages
